Many restaurants have areas they can shut off for small groups. We're having the local Raleigh Internet Marketing master mind tonight in fact at a local restaurant. They put us in a side room and give us our own wait staff. There's typically around 25 of use each month and we're there for about 2 hours. I know other venues as well can handle this like Golden Carrol(sp) - but most are usually local places and not the chains. But you never know unless you ask Applebees etc. Our local public library also has meeting rooms you can use - the only criteria is you can't discriminate among participants etc. Finally we have several rent an office spaces here in RTP - places like OfficeSuitesPlus- that will allow outside firms to rent their conference rooms. Its usually pricey - running upwards of 50$/hour so I've never used them for that. Even when I was a tenant, the rooms ran us $25/hr after our monthly allotment of time. But it is an option. I'd take a look at some local restaurants first and see what you can find. Good luck, --Jack |
