Default Are you losing subscribers because of this?

Hi Warriors,

Recently, 3 people have contacted me about my opt-in form not appearing in my squeeze page. I have checked it in Firefox and IE, and they're working. I also asked a few friends and it's working fine for them too.

I wondered what went wrong with those 3 who emailed me? Then my friend Ross and I had a discussion; it came to us that some people's browsers might have their javascript option turned off.

I was using Awebers web form in javascript format, so we have a hunch this could be the cause. What do you think? Are you using aweber's web form in javascript format, or the html raw version?

Thanks. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
Michael

I don't use the javascript version at all.
I always go for the HTML version.

Keep it old school

Yes Michael, always use the HTML version... There have been issues with the Javascript in the past with many users...

Yup, sounds like they have Javascript switched off.. apparently a lot of office machines are like this for security.

Hope you get it sorted out soon.

I actually use both versions. What I do is post the java form on my main squeeze page and then have a disclaimer at the bottom stating that if they cannot see the webform it's because they have java disabled. Then I share a link to an alternate page in which I the form displayed via html.

Matt, why post both versions when you could just use one? Is there any advantage to javascript that the HTML doesn't have?

Thanks again,
Michael
