Hey guys,

I usually use ezine, a long time ago (like a year ago) I tried go articles and had no luck.

However, according to Dan Molano's article guide 102 go articles is fine.

I will have 100 backlinks pointing to each article (ugh..so much work!) have you guys had success with go articles?

I have noticed ,for my own articles, that I am on first page of Yahoo for the chosen keyword when submitted to Goarticles a lot of times when I do not even rank for the kw in Google ( not first page anyway ).

I have started using website-articles.net and have been convinced Yahoo parks their spider there .

Google and Bing also ranks my articles there very quickly.

I get great rankings with GoArticles - even beats Ezine in some instances.

I use goarticles for backlinks only never really get that much traffic unless you build a ton of backlinks to the actual article

    Slin,

You can't just take someone's word for it.

You can follow their lead - but their results could be entirely different than what you'll see.

Best thing to do is try it. If it doesn't work, then you have your answer. If it does work, then you made the right choice.

Bottom line? Test your own stuff - tweak - repeat until you reach the desired consistency.

Every day I check the obituaries. If I don't see my name there, then I know it's going to be a good day!

Great advice Allen! Go Articles work well for some niches but not for others. The best is to test it yourself and move on to other article directories if you get mediocre results from Go Articles.

Ezines works great for me... I still think the best is to try a number of directories with one article (rewritten at least 60% but in the same list categories on each of the directories). Then watch your results from there and make a judgement.

who knows, you might find this process gives you the best results altogether!

I really hate to keep beating this horse but why do you suggest rewriting the article before you submit to other directories .

People that spread inaccurate information should at least take the time to come off with some made up stats to back it up. It would deceive so many more newbies .

I submit the same article to all the directories with no rewrite . I have never had one turned down for dup content .

Different directories rank better for different niches .

I have the same article presented in several different formats for a chosen keyword . I have 1 through 9 on Googles first page . EZA is not even on the front page for this article but the last time I checked it was in the middle of page three

Sometimes GoArticles can rank very high on Google, if you have enough backlink you should definitely consider using them too.

Many times I had success with GoArticles. Go for it.

Sometimes my articlebase and Goarticle content get much better ranking then Ezinearticles. So, submit your content to all these directories to get better rank

Can I take step back and ask what are a couple of noob questions:

      1. How easy is it to submit to Go Articles - I assume there is heavy article moderation?

      2. To what extent can the articles include external links?

      Thanks,

      Bagless

What do you mean they dont put the keywords in the URL? You are writing the article. I alwasy pop my bio along with my article in the article box at Go and have never had any trouble getting approval.

Bagless Go Articles is super easy to submit to and no heavy moderation. I really like the site but I never see anything I write there get indexed high. Yet my ezines articles usually rank very well.

If you are getting results with Go Articles are you having to backlink to it?

I like GA for the short run and its positive reaction to backlinks but I find EZA works much better over the long haul.

Not as much as I should be .

If I was going to rewrite an article at 60% I would point this article to my chosen directory articles .

I spend a lot more time researching long tails . There are a lot of great keywords out there that has little to no competition.

The keyword I was referring to above only gets 23 Google searches a day so most people don't think it is worth their time . It gets 16 from yahoo and 6 from Bing .

The kicker is .... the word buy is in the long tail. This in my opinion makes the lower amount of searches more viable .

Since I basically own the page it has worked very well for me .
