Membership site owners: How much did you first make when launcing your membership site??

I'm really curious here warrior members: What has your first few months worth of turnaround been like so far??

How many hours a day did you put into both launching and maintaining your site daily??

What plugins/platform did you guys use??

    The system I've used is a wordpress site, subscription payments via paypal and password protected log-in.

    I set up the autoresponder to send out weekly emails, I made the main bulk of the subscription content over a couple of week then top up with new bunch of new content once a month so the longest subscribers always have fresh stuff.

    That's about it, works well for me.

    I used Joomla to create the site and it ended up being WAY to complex...in fact it was overkill for a basic membership site...great piece of software though. So it ended up taking me days setting things up and getting it all just right...even before going to the content adding phase.

    So I recommend using the simpliest platform that you can get away with. Wordpress with plugins works great...so does amember etc.
