EZA question on multi articles

Hi Everyone,

I'm newly arrived to the IM scene, and have been reading posts here to increase my knowledge.

I'm thinking of writing articles for EZA and having registered an account with them and reading their T&Cs, I am still unclear on the following points:

1) Can I write a few articles on a similar subject, and these articles all have the same Example Web Page in the resource box?

2) I'd like to occasionally structure my articles so they are a continuation of each other; however each would be an independent read by itself. Is this OK with them?

I enjoy writing, so I think at times I may write articles for the fun of it instead of for the main purpose of linking back to another page.

Ans: Yes, you can write articles on a similar subject and point all these articles to the same web page.

Ans: Yes, i have seen authors who have done this. Personally, I don't practice this. I usually write stand-alone articles but with quantity. It works well for me. My 2 cents.

I just submitted my first article today. I suppose it'll take more than a week to get approved.

Took me a long time to write it, because I'm trying my best to not get rejected. But I'm sure the more I write, the faster I'll be.

Yep, when it comes to marketing, the more you write, the better you get.

Nowadays, if you are not a premium or platinum members of EZA, it does take some time before your articles get approved.

Don't worry too much about the approval time as this is something that we can't influence. What we can do is continue writing and submitting articles to EZA.

Hi Eric

Yes to the first question But I'm not giving a definite yes to the second.

Where you asked about the resource box you can have the same one for all your articles or you can alter the resource box each time so it flows easily from the end of the article to your site.

With continuity of articles, you are not allowed to write them as Part 1, Part 2 etc unless their TOS have changed.

If you want to do it that way you can add the 2 parts to your own site or blog, submit the first part to EZA and link to the blog so the reader can read the rest of the article.

Your articles are unlikely to get rejected unless the content of the article doesn't relate to the title, the grammar and spelling is poor or it doesn't really make sense. You're correct in that the more you write the faster you get.

Eric, if you're someone who already has good writing skillls (grammar, spelling, punctuation), eZine articles will be pretty simple for you and you should do well. They have a few funny rules that will cause an article to not be approved, but they'll tell you what's wrong, and if you don't understand what the problem is, they're pretty good about sending an explanation. Everybody gets an article kicked back now and then, it's no big deal.

Write your first 10 and submit ASAP. It'll take a week to get them approved, but if the quality is good on the first 10, you'll be moved up to Platinum and then articles are approved within 2 business days.

Here are a couple of tips from my experiences with eZineArticles. First, your TITLE is critical -- the whole point of writing articles is to get them read, and to get them published. If your title is boring, no reads and no publishing. And no click-thrus. Most of the books will tell you to always use "How To" or "5 Ways To" or a couple other standard title types -- and in my experience, the books are wrong. My best traffic pulling articles have punchier titles. Experiment with this, you want keywords in the titles, but you also want to grab people's attention.

Next tip -- your resource or bio box -- don't put your bio there. Nobody cares about you and your life experience (sorry, but it's true), so this type box doesn't get many click-thrus. You can't put links in your articles -- but you CAN put two links in your bio box, so use your bio box as the last paragraph of your article and put a link to your website and also a call to action type link to your product or squeeze page or Squidoo page or whatever.

So now you know about xxxxx. If you need more help or information on xxxxx I have a free report called "Finding xxxxx" that you can download for free at www.heresthelink.com. And check out Finding xxxxx For Dummies, it's a great inexpensive book that will give you a lot of information on xxxxx.
-- End of example, and the links above are fake. See what I mean though? Much more interesting than an actual bio, and you'll get lots of click-thrus.

I especially like the tip to use the bio box as the last paragraph.

Today I woke up and saw that EZA sent me an email saying that I'm now Platinum status.

I'm so happy! I just submitted my tenth article last night!
