Promotional Video Software

Hi Guys... anyone know what software makes those really cool video presentations where just words and images are displayed? Like the ones found on the killer Sales Video . com site.

Just wondering if its easy to make my own or pay someone to do it?

You can use windows movie maker, it's free and it's great.

If you want to pay for a good service than you can go for TrafficGeyser dot com. Fast video creation and it's also very professional.

The best thing about TrafficGeyser is that it's also SEO friendly.

It's WAAAAAY to hard Lazersam1. You're much better off just paying SOMEONE to do it.

The software is Adobe After Effects. These are the kind of videos we are selling to offline clients. There is a learning curve for the software, and for the CS4 suite that AE is included in is only a few grand. It can likely recoup your outlay if you sell enough of em. I will say for what you get from Chris Willow, you cant beat the price. It may be cheaper just to buy from him. I know I charge SUBSTANTIALLY more. Good luck.

You can purchase some background loops, create your letters or signs as a text file on a clear background, and I'm not sure if camtasia does this but on screenflow you can manipulate the text to flip and move a bit.

So it is just a matter of creating a couple of layers and then dropping some music you have rights to use into the background.

It doesn't happen fast if you are doing it all for the first time. And yes, the fancier you want to get the more time you will spend and more expensive the software you will need to purchase.

Best to ask yourself, is this just one or two videos you want? If so, that price really isn't bad - and you may find something in the WSO's on here as well.

Simple videos can be just as effective if done right. You don't need words whipping across the screen - you just need an effective message with the right presentation.

I use both of the recommended for my offline clients (yes I still use Windows Movie Maker

shut it) and I never sell a video for less then $500. Once you get rolling outsource it (I'd suggest going to your local college and getting a few students to do it for you dirt cheap)
