New to the Forum - Hello!

Hi i am new to the forum and new to IM.
I have tried for years to find descent help rather than people trying to scam me and take my money all the time, so i am very wet behind the ears in IM but i am willing to learn and listen as i do believe this is the way to go to make money.
My experience up to yet is that i have joined a few Affiliate schemes with small sucess together with promoting Clickbank products using Adwords but this again has worked but on a tiny scale and it actually cost me more money to advertise the ebooks than i made.
So thats were i am........i am all ears and look forward to learning loads

Mark

Yes you can, but it will take some time to set it up properly.

I'm not exactly sure what your current sales funnel looks like, but you'll want to work on both your short term and long term plan at the same time.

Adwords is most efficient with products that are very new to the market or when you can find those special low cost keywords. It can be used to initially drive some traffic to see if a product converts, but your long term goal should you find something good should be to get some organic results and to get a lot of smaller sites linking to your site.

Another thing that is wise to have in place (depending on the niche) is your autoresponder. If you are paying for traffic, it is a waste to not be collecting some names and emails out of it.

Begin by selecting your niche and your product. Feel free to run a little adwords campaign to see if there is a demand.

Once you've determined you have a good niche and product, you can set up a website or a blog which has the AR readily available - either as a pop up or on the side. Offer a free report or something to get the persons attention.

You can either outsource to have something made for you - it doesn't have to be an entire product but a few pages on something to compliment the niche. You can also assemble something by using articles on the web but you will want to be sure to contact the original authors and give them credit if this is the road you take.

Next, set up some smaller web 2.0 properties that point back to your main site. Again, you can put your affiliate links in some of these places - like squidoo for example, but you want to also link back to your website.

In your website, use the keywords you would be bidding on.

Do some article marketing as well using those keywords.

Eventually, you can build up a properly SEO'd site that will automatically push to the front page of the search engines to where you WONT be paying for adwords.

In addition, when you do use adwords to direct traffic to your site first, you will be capturing names and emails who you can market to over and over again. Otherwise, you are constantly paying for fresh traffic that you have no idea if they will buy or return to buy later. With an autoresponder, you can remind them to revisit the things you are promoting, and you can drive some traffic to your blog as well.

Online, as far as more specific advise, you can actually sell your own product on Clickbank.com. You need a website though, and you need a good sales copy. All resources you can purchase at the services section here at WF. There are a bunch of alternatives to google adwords as well btw. Heck, you can even write articles and submit them to article directories for free traffic and consequently, sales.
