Quickest way to reinstall my blog with my content intact?

I did some greyhat stuff on my blog a little ways back and with the last few WP updates it seems like my code is a little screwy on my site.

I can't quite figure it out on the php side so I'm just going to do a fresh install. So is there any way to do it besides copy and pasting all of my content?

I know I can do a DB backup, but will that just backup the screwy code as well?

Thanks!

Fschmeider -- In general -- but NOT ALWAYS -- the code for WP lives in the files on your server, and the posts live in your database.

Read the instructions for upgrading wordpress (or you can hire me!) on the wordpress.org site and you most likely will be fine.

If not, you still should have everything backed up.

you can also export the content, and just import it again when u re-install.

as long as the export file is less than 2 megs - that's usually the server max for uploading again

      hope this helps

ok.. do a complete backup of your blog. I mean, the DB and the wordpress directory... Then do a fresh installation and import the databases! That's what I did. It worked...
