Merchant Account HELP!

So, I'm outside the US up north.

I cannot use Authorize.net.

Which means I cannot properly integrate with several scripts most easily 1ShoppingCart and merchant accounts.

So now, I found out Planet Payment = Authorize.net for international merchants.

So would that mean it's the same thing when it comes to integration with Merchant Accounts, 1ShoppingCart etc?

And what merchant account do IM'ers outside US recommend? Is Durango safe for high volume of transactions in a day?

Please help! Who do I pay to help me with this stuff?
