I see a lot of post and get several pm's from newbies who seem to have no idea where to start in IM.
This is not for everyone . It works for me . I use this process to promote my own products but have used it to affiliate market . For those that do not agree with me ... you could be right . Instead of flaming ... Outline a system that works for you and could help someone that is in need . This system requires
First you need to decide what type of niche you want to promote in. This has to be researched . Just because you are the best sunflower seed "spitter" in your town and know all their is to it, may not make it a profitable niche . Could be .... could not be . Google a free keyword tool and do the search . Find out the predicted daily traffic . Check the competition. Use a generic website name that preferably has the main keyword for the niche in it . Some say this is important to SEO. With the ever evolving algorithms used by the search engines , it could or could not be . It does help your sites credibility with potential customers . Find some long tail keywords that have good search results and the lower the better competition If your long tail is rabbit tobacco and lettuce . (do you think I made that one up?) name two sub-pages in your site
Write two unique , original articles optimized for the long tail "rabbit tobacco and lettuce ". Place one article on each page . Submit both articles to EZA. In the resource box link aticle one to article two in your site Link article two to article one in your site . Make sure that all articles are preselling a freebie you are giving away . Set autoresponder code on your pages . The main purpose of everything you do will be to collect visitor information . Place a redirect in the autoresponder form to a low dollar item that relates to the freebie you are giving away Write a follow up series for your autoresponder . This series needs to balance between educational, interactive with your new list members , pre-sell emails , and sales emails . Your main objective is driving traffic . Let the autoresponder do the sales . EzA has more than likely not approved your articles yet . Submit your two articles to as many article directories as you can . Do not beleive those that tell you they need to be rewritten. Make sure these articles point to your site pages the same way they do in EZA. Before long you will see which article directory works best for you and your niche . This will be your home directory . Write 5 to 10 articles for your long tails . Link to the article in your home directory as well as your site page that is optimized for the long tail. Keep searching out long tails and naming pages in your site after them twice . Repeat the same steps for every long tail you research and approve for your site. Remember this system depends as much on your autoresponder redirect and follow ups as it does traffic . Always keep records of how well each page does . Those that convert well are good canidates for a PPC ad . Continue adding to your follow ups . Adding new products is essential. If you have a product that is converting better than others ... move it up in the follow ups . Have a product that is just not converting ... tweek the follow ups for a while but do not give them priority in your follow ups . If you can not get them to convert ... delete them. As I said this may not be for you but it has worked well for me . Hope this helps |

An admittedly hurried version of a long term business plan but it works . If the redirects are done right you can make a few bucks building your list besides the regular income the ar follow ups provide .
