ATTN: Newbie IMers! Tired Of Struggling To Get Traffic To Your Websites?

Hi everyone,

I understand that as a new internet marketer it can sometimes be a struggle to get targeted traffic to your websites. I want to help out those who are new to internet marketing and traffic generation by doing an interview with an expert.

I plan on interviewing a top internet marketer who understands the fundamentals of getting people to websites. (Sorry, I can't reveal his name until the final deal is sealed). I hoping to see if you could help me out.

I have a small list of questions I'm planning on asking this person, but the way I see it, I should get most of the questions from people who need help the most.

So if you could tell me your single most important questions about web traffic generation, then that would be really helpful.

Everybody has the same single objective in mind - how can I get more visitors to my website without spending off an arm and a leg? What are the best working methods of generating traffic to my websites? and so on and so forth.

Sam,

As a new person to the world of IM'ing, yet with some knowledge under my belt, so to speak, one of the questions I would like to see answered would be something along the lines of:

"When it comes to building backlinks through web 2.0 properties, such as blogger or wetpaint, what's more important really...

That the site we're using as a back link to our own 'money site' has a high PR, uses 'dofollow' tags or has a high 'authority' relationship w/the SE's?

A truly step by step kind of blueprint for getting traffic would be great as only theory and assumptions won't help any newbie out there.

the question I would like is: What the most effective way to build a list? The quickest and cheapest do not always brings results, so how do we go about build a list of buyers that will give us the greatest return?

Set up opt-in form on your website/blog giving free gift relevant to your niche.

Collect the leads, keep on sending free gifts for the next 7 days to establish relationships with them. Start selling from 8'th day onwards. Good luck.

The biggest issue in IM, and that's traffic generation, probably has some simple answers and tweaks that we could use to make it easier for us..besides SEO and PPC ofcourse..
So general question would be: Tell us that little simple things that will generate traffic that don't require months and years of work
