Default Made my first affiliate sale...should I have made more by now?

Hey Warriors,

I have submitted my articles to Ezine and have had over 106 URL clicks.

I made my first sale after about 50 URL clicks. I was very happy because I made a sale with my first 3-4 articles.

But that was two days ago, I was hoping to have at least one maybe two more sales but haven't had any yet.

As it's my first review page I was wondering if it sucks (I think it does a bit) or I'm being too impatient. It's a blog with a couple of pages of useful information. I know the info that I've written is good.

What do you guys think?

I hate to sound negative.....but you may have gotten lucky. Same thing happened to me. I made a sale about a week ago, the only sale I've made in the last 1.5 months. I've got 30 articles on EZA, and over 1200 hops in the last 1.5 months.

1 sale in 50 hops is really good, but don't expect that to be the norm unless you see it happen consistently for a while.

Don't get impatient carry on building your business and the sales will come. Write at least five articlers a day and that is a hundred and fifty a month

Exactly the same thing happened to me when I first started over 3 years ago. I made a sale within a week of beginning marketing and then did not make another sale for almost three months. Luckily, I did not become disheartened and have now built my business into a very profitable one. If you stick at it and stay passionate, the sales will come..

I put some of my early experiences down in my ebook. Check out my site in my signature for more.

that's what I was worrying about, was it just a lucky sale.

I will write more articles but adjusting the site first might make more sense.

Try to get your articles to rank and stick in Google. You don't always need to submit TONS of articles. 10 articles ranked number 1,2 or 3 on Google will beat out 1000 articles sitting a in a directory of THOUSANDS waiting to be found.

MOST People searching directories ARE NOT looking for your offers. They're just passing by. You need the folks on the OUTSIDE to see your articles. Get them ranked!

Get backlinks to your articles. Think long term. Lets say you have 25 products, are you going to sumbit 150 articles a month per product for 25 products? That's damn near 4000 articles a month!

Even with outsourcing that can get way out of hand.

PS-1 sale per 100-200 clicks is good.

Work smart not hard.

Yes, if you think the site is not working, then change what you think needs changed. You will probably find yourself tweaking your site fairly regularly until you are happy. The happier you are with the site, the more sales will come.
