Free Affiliate Resource

Hi Guys.

A good friend of mine from my school days contacted me about wanting to get started online. I have agreed to steer him in the right direction, teach him SEO, PPC and some email marketing stuff, but I have got too much on my plate!

The guy is a University graduate so he has zero capital at the moment. Can anyone recommend a good free affiliate marketing resource that will teach him the basics. (I am not talking about clickbank specifics, just a generic description or concise course explaining the principles).

I just want to give him some reading material to start with.

Last time I looked there wasn't an all-in-one affiliate thread here (hint hint).

Anyway, I would appreciate any suggestions.

While I admit I haven't looked at this information in detail, from knowing the person and doing a quick scan I think it's pretty good info.

It's a free affiliate training community.

Ask him to check out the Ed Dale thirty day challenge it is the best free training available

I appreciate that la dominatrix.

But he doesn't want to faff on with those kinds of courses yet. He just wants to read over basics, and I don't want him involving himself in the sales funnels the challenge teaches, he just wants an overview of the affiliate concept.

Maybe some old ebook like the ones created by rosalind gardner or Day Job Killer will explain all the details..

It's best for newbie who want to learn the basic of affiliate marketing,
Anyway is your friend have you invite yet to this forum? maybe he can look into something in this forum..

I would recommend the forum, but there is a lot of "noise" here, and some of the advice is not always good advice. So I want him to read some good basic materials first.
