Hi. Do what jaideep said. However, perhaps you could give us a little more information. What books have you read, and are there any specific aspects to affiliate marketing that you have questions on, or something in particular that you seem to be hanging up on?

Information overload can put one into paralysis (been there done that)...
The best thing I found to get me Going was the thirtydaychallenge.com.
Worked for me because it is 'one day at a time' training and you go at your own pace, but it is quite interactive and they Show you what to do and how to do it. Starts at the basics and I didn't have that 'in over my head' feeling....oh, and it is free

Since you already found the warriors, I won't go there, but you know this is a great place

Hi Ike,

I agree with Andie also. Watch out for that information overload! My biggest problem in affiliate marketing was opportunity jumping. That's when you jump to promote everything that looks,sounds and smell like it will make you millions.

We all know that can be a trap. You'll find lots of good info here though. But after you research and find that hot seller, focus on it. Try to adding your own twist to your marketing process.

Clickbank is a good place to start because they has lots of great products to choose from. But you'll still have to weed out the best ones. This again comes down to doing your research.

you just need the right tips and training to get started, you probably read the wrong books.

My advice to you, would be to browse this forum, and look for useful information that will be pointed in the right direction.

You can use the search function at the top of the page to look for any specific topic that you are interested in knowing more about. Don't give up keep learning, have a great work ethic, and you will eventually succeed. I stress this do not give up. Good luck!

Hi Ike,

Congratulations you are on the right track to success.

I would suggest your next step to be going out and looking for a training program th
that suits you, there are many out there teaching you different techniques like SEO or PPC etc etc etc.

What road you take next will depend on how what your current situation is. If you don't have alot of money to spare then start of with free method's such as submitting articles and using forum's etc. A good article directory is EzineArticles.com and is free to sign up and submit articles.

Once you find your system follow it through to the end. Don't hop from one to the next as you will get nowhere fast. (Trust me I know from personal experience)

I feel you can learn a lot from this forum, so keep searching about affiliate marketing in this forum, You could search for some tutorials on learning good SEO techniques. Ike -- the hardest thing in the world to do is to take action -- if you've done a lot of research on affiliate marketing, you should know (in theory) how to do it -- so is your problem taking that first step? Have you decided what method you're going to use to sell? Do you have a plan of action worked out and written down? Or have you started and you're not seeing results? Post a few more specific details about what you've done or not done so people can give you better, more specific advice or options. What have you done and what are you thinking of doing?
