Default Wishlist Member With Rapid Action Profits

Hey guys,
I have a membership site completely set up with Wishlist Member. I absolutely love the Wishlist Member and I don't want to use any other membership script or plugin. I recently got denied by Clickbank because my domain name has "Wordpress" in it. I settled for setting up my affiliate program with PayDotCom.

I really don't like PayDotCom and was thinking about setting up the affiliate process with Rapid Action Profits.

Does anyone have experience integrating Rapid Action Profits and Wishlist Member? I'm not quite sure how to set them up together. I don't own RAP yet. I was afraid to spend the money before knowing that they can play nice together.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

Matt,

Currently there is no integration of WL and RAP. Memberwing does, but not WL.

Seems like someone does need to create it though.

Thanks,

John

Hey Matt,

I use Rapid Action Profits and have found very little that you cannot integrate with it.

Sid Hale, the owner of the script, is a Warrior and has a very good user forum where real experts answer questions on all aspects of R.A.P.

Sid is a good guy and very helpful and RAP is a good value no matter how you use it. So, if you can afford it, go for it.

I'm glad this question was brought up because I am in the process of setting up a membership site with RAP.

I think that the integration issue is not on the RAP side it may be in the WL side.

I like WL too, and would prefer to use it.

I'm looking forward to finding how

I use Wishlist Member and have found ways to integrate it with almost anything outside ... but very little going in. It is a solid, stable script, and they give very good support. But some features seem to be limited by the way they have integrated with WordPress.

And, as the code is encoded (obfuscated), it is hard to feel safe trying to tie in to it. Although it is very easy to decrypt, and if I was a coder, I could probably figure out how to tie in to it.

Cheers
Kirk

OK,

I am not saying it won't work, but at this point, here's the problem.

Wishlist is a stand alone set up, with the registration and sales process built in. RAP is the same way. Getting them to 'talk' to each other is the problem. There would need to be an add on written that incorporates into RAP that would bridge the functions of the two.

Gleb, the creator of Memberwing, wrote an add on that does exactly that. It allows RAP to handle the sales process which handles the front end, especially the affiliate commissions, then it passes the specific information on to MW to handle the account creation and access control. Once this is done, MW takes care of the rest, such as the content drip, etc.

It makes the process seamless.

Not sure how you can get around this.

Thanks,

John

They talked about releasing an API a few months ago. Perhaps you should see where they are with that.

Thanks guys. I'll do some more research on Memberwing. Unfortunately, my current setup is all in Wishlist so I think it would be more trouble than it's worth to move it over.

Wishlist doesn't technically integrate with PayDotCom either but I got it to work for now. I just don't like having to pay affiliates manually. I like the idea of RAP automatically paying affiliates.

Oh well. I'll keep with my current system for now and look in to Memberwing for future projects.

Matt

Matt,

I just had a brain burp. I think the method I used to integrate WishList with iDevAffiliate may be what you are looking for. PM me for details.
