Article writng to promote my product?

So i have gotten started in affiliate marketing, i don't want to go all out and spend money on ppc or my own domain or anything like that as im not going to be doing this for a living just for a little extra cash, so i have decided im just going to write articles and submit them to different sites. The problem is i have no idea where to start. Like lets go with i'm trying to sell an e-book on "learning to play the guitar" Should i write up my own pitch page on why they should buy this or is it better to give information on the guitar lead them into learning it (very basic) and say if they want to learn to play more they should buy this. Any suggestions on whats the best to do?

    Although I don't do affiliate marketing very much, in the instances that I have done it, I found that writing an article about the concept of the eBook and then linking to it is a very good way to sell non-IM products.

    I will help you out, first get a domain name and hosting. This is about $23 and then get a wordpress blog, with a good theme. Start writing unique articles and put them on the blog site and on article sites. Then get some marketing tools to help you get to the top of the search engines. Article marketing will help but search engines ranking helps more.
    Then place a link on where they can get the products by clicking on it. If you want to increase business get a autresponder to capture there email, also do reviews, and helpful stuff to get them interested in buying.

    Do you have your own product? If you're not going to spend money on your "own domain or anything like that," then you probably wouldn't pay for somebody else to make your product. Before you start to market anything, make sure the product is decent and is something YOU would buy if you were in your target demographic. Otherwise you're going to get a super-high refund rate.

    As for article marketing, EzineArticles is the best at ranking its own articles very quickly after acceptance. Promote a free video at the bottom of your articles (in the bio box), capture the reader's email address when they click through (so you can send them the download link), offer your best beginners video, and you can be creative from here in getting them to buy.
