Website Not converting

I wonder if any of you could help me,my website is getting traffic but no one is signing up
could you please take a look at my site and tell me if there is something wrong with it.My mentor has looked at it and says its fine but maybe needs a ghraphic for book.I would really appreciate your help.or failing that maybe you could tell me how best to get sign ups.thanks vivi62

* Weght loss niche is VERY competitive. You can not do it with single page. Create a blog with fresh content.

People are lazy they DO NOT like to scroll down.
Try putting a optin box in the center of the page or making the page smaller so you do not have to scroll down.

A squeeze page is not a sales page it should be short and to the point.

You need a new header graphic that one took 10 seconds to make and it shows.

weight loss is very competive niche you will be competing with thousands of sites.

Hi!I think it will good if you can add some graphics related to your niche (header, footer, ebook or audio cover) Also some people may not take their time to read all your text until the end (where you have your op-in box) I will suggest you to have two op-in boxes:1- put one after your title and subtitle, with a good call to action (in the left or right)2- Keep the one you have at the end!I hope that helps!

I would try something shorter and simpler.

Big, bold, benefit-driven headline. 1 paragraph intro, 5 or 6 bullet points, and an opt-in box. Put in a couple of images to break the page up, possibly some before and after shots considering your niche.

Consider putting up an image of the free thing you're giving away too. That's always worked well for me.

Here is my oppinions about your site :

1. I thinks The site itself need some cool professional design, so visitor will see your site as authority onesx on your niche.

2. try to shorten your page at least fit the browser without neen to scrool down to see the entire page ( I mean visitor will see the full page of your site in their browser )

3. Try to add 2 optin box , the chance visitor optin will increase that way,

4. Here is the best part to increase optin rate, add some pop up optin script on your site, One of my squeeze page converting well this way

I agree with the "above the fold" and " more professional look" comments. In addition I would suggest the headline focus on what the reader is getting right now.. IE;

"Grab this Free Report which will help you to start losing weight minutes from now" or

"Secret foods you must eat to maintain quick and easy weight loss"

I don't mean throw away your headline, I mean test these and see if one works better.

VIVI! I think i know the problem. I'm using firefox with the very popular plugin, adblockplus, and your optin box is blocked by the plugin. So people can't sign up if they have the plugin!

What you can do to solve this is make an html optin box instead of using the aweber javascript code.

My initial gut instinct is that you have copy problems. I currently have over 200 free report squeeze pages I use myself and after a bit you just get an instinct for what will work and what doesn't.

Right now the site and copy looks amateurish and your prospects are turning away from it the second it loads up.

But before you think I'm coming down hard on you let me share some ideas that you can implement immediately.

Try implementing the following:

1) Go more direct with the headline. It's crucial you pull in the reader the instant they hit your page. Try this headline instead in a split test: "Are You Sick And Tired Of Wasting Your Money On Stupid Weight Loss Supplements That Never Work? "

2) Your sub headline should read something like "Shedding unwanted pounds is easy if you know which secret foods to eat!"

3) By starting out your copy stating "I really do care about you! - And I want to be YOUR FRIEND! ..." makes you look insincere. Let your copy prove to them you care about them without stating so specifically. It's the same premise as the salesman who says "you can trust me on this". So my advice is to delete that first line of copy. I recommend you take delete the second paragraph as well. Your job is not to sell the prospect on who you are as a person. If you try you'll lose conversions. But rather your job is to ENTICE the prospect to download your report.

4) You had a lot of extra copy that just didn't need to be on the page. When it comes to squeeze pages "less is always more!"

5) You should take off the copy about sending them extra email as well. There is nothing wrong with sending unadvertised bonuses. But let them be surprised by it!
That is something that is certainly hurting your conversions.

When it's done it should look something like Quick Weight Loss Secrets

You can feel free to import that copy and use it if you want.

It's not a terrible page, but it's not a very good page, either. Punch it up some with some graphics and better headlines, also a couple of sub headers. Your fonts don't go together well, it looks like you copied and pasted whole paragraphs and didn't bother to make it all look like it goes together. Definitely get your sign up form much higher on the page, it wouldn't hurt to have two sign up areas. And tell them the dollar value of the report that they're receiving for free -- You'll receive this report (normally $27) plus this great video (a $19 value), both FREE for a limited time -- or something like that. When you tell people the value of what they're receiving, they then feel like it's valuable information and they want it. I agree with the person who posted above, go find a really good page that you've seen before, and use it as a template for what you're trying to do. (No copying.) Hope this helps. Don't scrap it, you've got a good start, just jazz it up. Oh, one other thing, be sure to tell them to fill in their first name and a valid e-mail, and click the submit button. I know it's crazy, but adding this will help you get more signups.

You got the basics down, just couple quick tips and I'm not sure how your mentor missed this, but first in the headline-grab this shock report. After radio make seperate line in this must read shocking report, not This Shock Report. Yellow header get rid of and throw opt in box on top right if possible and bottom, and if cant get on top right then throw at top of page and leave one at bottom as well. Change the sub headline to make more dramatic and since you have more room definitely emphasize on what they are really missing and emphasize how bad it will continue to be if they don't grab your report--hope that helps

I see where you're going with the empathy bit, but that was a little far. You've never met me, but you care about me very deeply? (This starts to remind me of random 40 year old men on Myspace who start hitting on me... not the impression you want to give when you're trying to build your list!)

Factual error... you *do* need to exercise as well as follow a good diet. Diet alone does not lose weight nearly as quickly.
