Default SureFire Things That'll Cost You A Customer

I am Rapid Buyer..

I buy lots of information products...

This is what drives the IM niche (Rapid Hungry Buyers Like Myself)

But There are things if you do as the seller its gonna cost you
(A lot if you think about it)

Stuff Like
1. Not Following up with your customer : If Somebody sends you a mail regarding a problem they are having with your product/service, Respond ASAP

2. Not checking the sales funnel Properly
See if everything works, double check it, the download page, the payment
processor, the sales page, double check it, hell triple check it!!

3. Poor email Marketing
I unsubscribe from A person's mailing list as soon as he hits me with a promotion right after i have made a purchase from him..
C'mon when did relationship building went out of the picture??

It's OK for a big name Guru to do so, coz they have a traffic funnel up and running , if 1 person unsubscribes 3 more are ready to take his place..

But if you are not A Guru, then you need to stay sharp with your marketing efforts..

Now let me tell you why I am writing this post:

A few days back i purchased a product ( No names: I am not writing this to bash somebody)...
Anyways, I made the purchase and this guy is sharp, he hit me with an OTO , but unfortunately for him I wasn't interested...

So i scrolled down to the page so that I could find "No thanks I'm Not Interested, Just Take me to my Downloads" LINK, and to my amazement there was no link there..

So I sat there in my chair thinking what to do next... When nothing came to my mind i closed the Page...

The next obvious thing was to look for a support email address, i looked everywhere in his website but couldn't find one..

So i thought, I have made the purchase and i 'll receive the links in my email, sadly my inbox was empty...

There was no way I could reach that guy..

Then I looked at his paypal email address and shot him an email explaining what happened..

Then i went to his other websites (Yes he has more than one!! Can you believe that)
and found all the addresses I could find..

I sent him a copy of the original email with all the details..

The next logical step was to wait, Patiently, for at least 48-72 hours, which I did ( Everyone is busy, I understand that)

Still No response..

I shot him another email...

48 hours later...

No response Again..

Then what did I do?

I filed a Paypal Dispute

I unsubscribed from his mailing list..

And I made A Vow, Never to buy anything from him ever again...

Then I decided to share the whole thing(Here )

Don't let this happen in your business
Rahul

Lack of testing will cost you a bunch of customers also.

What a crappy way to do business. He's breaking all the rules at once. I imagine he has more than one Paypal dispute and a lot of other unhappy customers.

That's the reality in IM. Your subscribers are gold, they must be treated well if not your reputation as an internet marketer takes a huge hit. On a side note, I do hope you get your product or your money back.

Does this really even happen?

I find it kinda hard to believe people are putting up Payment links on salesletters before their product is even ready.

I am reading too many complaints like this... but I really find it WAY TOO HARD to believe.

Why would someone set up a sales funnel and not have a product in place already?

Not trying to justify anyone here... I haven't the slightest idea who Rahul is talking about here. Just curious... Does this stuff happen to someone else too?

Cause sure as hell it never happened to me.

Lakshay,
One more thing: I know the product is ready, Since it's a good product and he simply bought resell rights to it from another marketer..
He missed the link and he didn't follow up..
That's all
Rahul

I have had an experience when I'm promoting an affiliate product and the purchaser actually thinks ITS MY PRODUCT when I make it clear to them that it's someone else's!

Then they write abusive emails to me when their support ticket isn't answered.

Sighs...
