Hey.. need some help here. I am trying to upload a jpeg to my squeeze page into the hostgator c panel. I have done this before but today I am having a bit of a problem as the jpeg is not showing up. It shows up when i go into html edit but once i go to check it to make sure everything is ok the picture is not showing. I have tried downloading it in my original blog sites c panel and also into the subdirectory of the current blog i am using the picture for and it still keeps coming up blank. real frustrated.. please help.

    Hi,

    Do the following diagnostics..

    - make sure the graphic is saved as an actual jpeg image
    - make sure the extension is .jpg and NOT .jpeg
    - (to be safe) make sure the extension is in lowercase -- .jpg NOT .JPG
    - make sure you're referencing the graphic as img.jpg and not img.JPG
    - make sure you're referencing the graphic from the right place on the server in your HTML
    - finally, you should make sure you're uploading the graphic in binary format and not ascii format.

After that diagnostic, you should find the solution to your problem.

    Hope this helps

I've checked both your blogs from you signature, both are running on wordpress platform.

Maybe the theme that you are using isn't compatible with your current wordpress version.

      Deek3870,

When you go to edit your html and you see the image, you need to check the path url of the image. Make sure the path url is going to where the image is placed on your server. For example. If you loaded the image to a image folder on your server or any other folder, is the path file going directly to the image on your server? Sounds like a wrong path file on the image in your webpage. PM me if you are still having problems.
