new to the forum, saying hello and after help

as title suggests, im a newbie so hello to you all.

after reading some of the topics i have determined there are alot of people making alot of money.

i want to be one of them

now before i get into the nitty gritty i just thought i would let you all know.

i know it takes time and effort
and im not after a get rich quick scheme.

so down to bussines.

to begin with i think i would like to concentrate purley on adsense.
i say this because i would like to build my earnings up while only having to concentrate on one thing. i may spread into other areas once i have a hang on it, but for now just adsense.

i am currently working on a blog about car/motorbike performance modification, thats engines, carbon fibre, chassis, the lot.

i have heard its best to go very specific with web content so i would probably have a website/sub website for each topic.

what i would like to know is a step by step guide on how to do this.

ie.

make content
get domain (s)
make website
add adsense
target traffic
etc....

or a few links to specific steps i should do.

i am trained as a graphic designer so can create my own websites.

but past that i am a complete newbie.

i look forward to your responses

Adsense can be good but when you are just starting out it takes a while to buikd up the traffic to a site that therefore the revenue is slow to grow. This can be a kind of a kick in the rear when you have just put a bunch of time into building a website etc. Its also very discouraging.

Why not try article marketing? It's complete free and simply leverages your time and can turn you a reasonable income in a short period of time. It will also allow you to "taste" the traffic and see if you are getting buyers coming through and then you can switch from the affiliate product your promoting onto your won product and actually have a long-term viable business producing income. This is in contrast to being at Google's behest as long as the continue to send you adsense checks etc.

Anyway thats just some basic advice...if you choose to do some reading on article marketing...there are some great threads in this forum.

    Hope that helps!

Adsense is ok... if you do it right. Don't put all your eggs in that basket however. I had an account since 1999 and one day they just closed it and took the remaining balance due. Why? No idea... I have been super careful. I suppose a competitor could have been madly clicking on all the ads, no clue.

Are you in adsense banned camp too? If so, THANKYOU!

Nice to know I'm in good company.

I will add something on your steps.

    focus on keyword research
    find high converting affiliate products
create reviews and make it as recommended products to your sites
think of automation to automate all your process and to create many websites or to save time
    make content - outsource this
rewrite your content and put the original to your server and host the rewritten content to free blog sites and don't forget to link to your main sites
get domain (s) - create several sub-domains for sub-niches and put links to main sites
make website - create several websites and focus on sub-niches targeting long tail keywords
add adsense - add several income generating links(clickbank,cj,amazon, ebay, etc.), hire a ghost writer to create your own product
target traffic - list down all sites that could help you add more traffic
add an optin-form to build your list
restructure your site if you have a lot of traffic that don't have enough conversion of click, subscribers or sales.
check what's wrong why some products that you think is high converting but didn't convert on your site
    make appropriate changes
    repeat the process

Adsence is like a billboard company .

The bill board on a busy highway was getting a lot of visitors to the local shoe store .

The merchant was "tickled pink" with the money they were making .

The state DOT decided that this stretch of road was no longer the best route to take . They built a nice new by-pass.

The merchant started seeing his ever flowing customer base dry up.

He thinks " This is ok , I will just call my old customers and tell them I am running a sale ".

Sadly ... he never thought of doing any more than giving out business cards .

The few customers he could remember answered his calls but without a full list he soon went out of business.

Moral: Always collect visitor information ... you never know when the billboard might fall down or the route that got you traffic yesterday could become obsolete overnight ..

Ya, you can get more with adsense, If that is your target, to get more traffic, you have to do lots of article marketing. I am using EZA and some other good sites to post my articles, They bring me quality decent traffic and more clicks on adsense too.

Adsense is good, only if you do it in large scale up..

      I mean this,
If you have 1 site, and this site make you money around $ 2/day, so in 1 month these would be $ 60,

Then the thing you must to do is scale it up, build another site that will make you money like the ones you have build..

So adsense is work if you do it in large scale, It's like Adsense Empire, you name it..

But the problem with it is, you need provide a good content + good SEO to gain traffic,

The traffic is the life blood of your business, So focus on traffic generation method
Therefore you must research keyword first to see what keyword will send traffic to your site, then Optimize your site for that keywords..

Seem like easy to do, but It's really painfull..

      Take Care,
      Vaan
