How to use a single article in your funnel?

Hi all

I was watching one of Michael Meaney training video where he explains an interesting strategy. So besides having a lead magnet you can drive traffic to a relevant articles and then do remarketing to the readers with the magnet.

Now my question is, where and how does this article fit into my funnel?

Does this mean I need to have a full-fledged blog so that it looks like a credible source, or can I create a blog with just one article and use it in my funnel? If this is possible then I presume you need to spend some time on the branding of the blog and make it relevant to the niche?

Interesting. I would like to see this video. But it sounds like pointing people back to a blog to deliver value and engage prospects.

Sounds like you're trying to reinvent the wheel. Just stick to what works in lead generation advertising, and sell whatever you're trying to sell. I promise that this "new" strategy won't make or break your success online.

And don't waste time branding your blog. Just immediately set it up for profits.

    Hey Simon.

I'm probably the best person to answer this for you because its my vid

For the benefit of others reading this, who aren't up to speed:

Your article should be at the awareness stage of your funnel (cold traffic) - it's aimed at newbies, or people just starting to realise there is a problem that needs to be solved.

Once your visitors are pixeled, you run the squeeze page campaign and advertise your lead magnet exclusively to them (warm traffic).

You can do this with one blog post, if it delivers value and is transitional.

Don't forget to include a call to action in there too, leading to your squeeze page - not everybody will opt-in, so the retargeting campaign pulls them back into your funnel.

Just focus on getting your first campaign up and running, get that squeeze page converting, forget about branding, focus on conversions.

    Hope this helps.

You're probably thinking of a presale page, use it to educate your audience before they enter your funnel.

Drive facebook traffic to your article so you can get the lead and make the sale with your email followup.
