Tweet Util Program

Those of you who know me here know that I am what I like to call a hobbist programmer and like to create small utilty like programs that I find useful to me. Sometimes they are useful to others and I am convinced to either sell them or simply give them away with adverts.

I am not sure if I will release this or just keep it for myself as I like creating things that help me out but figured I would put it out here for your opinion.

First off this is not something radically new and I am sure you can find something more sophisticared but again I did it more for me and to see if I could do it.

With that said I have been working on a Twitter software that I use to post tweets from a list and to add followers on auto-pilot. I could add some more bells and whistles but it does what I want so not sure if I will bother. I have a friend that uses and loves it and suggested I sell it for under $10 and he created the Tweety Bird background for it.


As I said I am not sure if I will sell it, give it away with links to my site, do custom versions or just keep it to myself.

Right now its features are:

Post single tweet
Auto posting from a text file and at 1-30 min intervals
Create a short link like Twitter
Add followers from a text list
Auto post a single tweet but appending to it so that it is not the same tweet. Don't really use this feature since I added the ability to use a list but it can be useful none the less.
Send direct message
Thinking of adding ability to send direct message to a list.

I have but have not added to program, s separate program that will extract all followers from any account. Say there is someone who has 10,000 followers in the same niche as you, the program can extract their followers to a text file and then you can use that list to a follow them. Hopefully then they will follow you etc.

Any feedback or input would help me decide which way to go...

If you like it and (more important) use it, then surely there is a market for it.
It is good that you`re adding "bells and whistles" at the end. Unfortunately, most software creators today thinking of that (read "sales") first so their product mostly lacks of good main features.
So keep up the good work.
And - yes, sell it.

Hi,

Thanks for the interest. Since there did not seem much interest i sort of stopped adding features and have just been using it myself to do auto posting of my clickbank links.

As it stands i can add followers and do auto posting and can sent DM's.

If I get enough interest I may add a few more features as my intention is not to compete against the big guns.

I will need to create a video on how to use it.
