Alright Warriors

Courtesy of my site getting hacked by someone in Turkey I have not got to start from stratch.. Which is in a way a good thing because I orginally did supreme-host.com wrong.. I was trying to selling resales rights products and failing miserably.


Firstly onto the hacked part.. I got hacked because off an very old oscommerce script that I had forgotten about.. Nothing to do with wordpress..

I am thinking about turning supreme-host.com into a web hosting review site. Would that work? Or should I just be thinking about setting up a web hosting business with that domain name?

I am aslo thinking about have stuff relating to web design on it, etc, etc

I am planning to use wordpress and I am wondering what plugins I should use that will turn it into a neice looking review sites? And also what things I should be considering to turn it into a review site?

I think I need a section where the visitors can leave their own reviews (just like comments) but are allowed to leave a score in some way.. Just like here Host Gator reviews - Read user reviews of Host Gator at WebHostingReviews.com

There is a world of difference between a review site and a hosting company. I think the review site would be much easier.

Plugin's exist to make Wordpress a review site. I just don't have any to recommend because I've not tried them.

Hi, Wordpress Review Plugin is a plugin I have used with success. It is very simple to install and fairly robust. You have to pay however. If you're after something for free, you could try Star Rating for Reviews which is also quite good.

As for your question regarding your site, I would start ith the review site and build up to hosting if I were you. Build up a good list by providing quality content on web design and development and then you should find that when you switch to hosting, you have a list of customers immediately. I'll keep an eye on your site to see how you get along.

Do you know if the Star Rating For Reviews one can be use where other people can leave a review score? Or does it soley work on the basis of me choosing the rating?
