The other day I was searching domains and "los angeles porsche" was available. 3 hours later when I went to purchase it, it was gone. So I was wondering if there is a site or way to be contacted if GREAT Domains expire and become available. Or is it just about getting lucky? Is there a site that shows some good domains when they become available for purchase? |

| Captain War Room Member | Hi there, that is a nice domain - but you might have copyright issues. To answer your question I know that some domain registrars such as Godaddy allow you to back order a domain - maybe that can help you. |

I think Oscar meant Trademark issue. Unless you're an authorized Porsche dealer, it's very likely you'll receive a cease & desist letter from their legal department. As for great domains expiring, most 'great' names get snapped up the micro-second they become available, by name auction services like snapnames.com. You can place a bid there starting at $59 and hope it doesn't climb too high. |
