Default Google Adwords Question

I have a question about Google Adwords.

I have found several resources including a PDF made by Google itself about the Adwords program. I have created an ad around a group of similar keywords.

I'm doing the ad on a reverse phone number product available on Clickbank. In my ad I have the headline as "Reverse Phone Lookup". Then all of my keywords except for two include "Lookup".

After reading multiple resources I thought grouping similar keywords related to what you had in your ad would give you a better score. My ad has a quality rating of 3/10 or 2/10 depending on which keyword I hover over and about 15 or so keywords are not being used because the quality score is so low.

But all of my keywords ARE related to what I have in my ad and the landing page so I'm at a loss of what I am supposed to do to improve my quality score and have Google use all of my keywords.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me on this.

Mark.

Default Re: Google Adwords Question

its not just the ad that determines Q score...

Several things go into that. The ad and the keyword optimization of the landing page. You should mention the keyword you are bidding on twice in the ad and then FOR THAT KEYWORD send them to a landing page specifically keyword optimized for THAT keyword.

I know that sound ridiculous but that's how to get a Q score of 10 for everykeyword you bid on and lower your Cost per click to as low as possible.

And if you think about it - all you have to do is redo little parts of your landing page and then rename it to the-keyword.html and then send people who click on the ad for THAT keyword to THAT landing page.

Hope this helps

Ok, that makes sense. So I should make my own customized landing pages before sending them to the real landing page of the product?
