DotNetNuke Whats the deal with it?

DotNetNuke is A CMS I have been hearing about lately. Some people have been giving it rave reviews. It's going to be hard to pry me away from WordPress.

Anyone use it or know if it is all that?

DotNetNuke is a good CMS. As are Joomla and Drupal.

Having said that, a CMS is good for you only if it can
    do what you want.

WP is one of the most easiest platform to set up. It's powerful, SEO-friendly,
and basically fulfills a lot of stuff a marketers need.

If WP is working well for you, why don't you want to stick with it?

It's only a waste of time, if you go off using another platform,
and having to go through the whole learning curve again, when
your existing platform fits you need just nicely.

    Food for thought.

I'm not moving anytime soon. I spent a week learning Joomla before I decided it was overkill for affiliate marketing. I like to keep up to speed, and was wondering if there was anything super special about it.

      Hi Christian,

I've used WP, Drupal and Joomla before. All works. And all are powerful.

But...for speed and ease of implementation...WP for me, is best.

If you are looking at something simple as creating a blog or landing page,
WP is way more than suffice.

I'm not stopping you to try out though. It's good to learn new things.
I only want to caution you because of the learning curve and time taken.

And the worthiness of the exercise considering that your present WP
platform can more than do what you are looking for.

      Warmly,
      Jag

I have been using DNN for about three years now. I have used it for several different catalog sites. I would have to say it would be worth it to learn if your heart is into more than just affiliate marketing and sales. If the glory is not going to be in what you have created but instead just in the dollar earned from a sale than keep it simple and stick with what you know works.
