My God, This could Destroy a Marketer with out Faith!

Edwin Chandler spent (9) years in Prison for robing a store!
After his conviction he also was also placed on (5) years probation.

One year after being out of prison he has been acquitted of the crime and the
actual person that committed the crime in now in custody.

I can only imagine but I can't imagine the feeling this guy is having at this
moment but I'm sure he has the right and should be compensated for the
mistake that took his family and life away from him.

After Ed did his 9 years and was released from prison he came to my son
for a job.My son hired Ed knowing that they must have accused the wrong
person.

Ed, went to court tonight and was acquitted of the crime and still has his job.

My point is that every thing isn't as it appears and how the news states.

Some times things are just as they are and we need to really look at
things before we draw a conclusion.

I know Ed from my Son's work and I couldn't believe after talking to him
that he had been accused of the crime. I told him, "If you know you didn't
do it then stick to that".

Ed is now a FREE MAN and has a Job even in the hardest time the US has
seen in many years.

What does this have to do with Marketing?

I'll tell you.

Sell yourself then you don't need to sell you product!

It's that simple.

That is crazy. I saw a show recently about people wrongfully accused and jailed for crimes they didn't commit. What a nightmare.

Well I missed him. He asked for tonight off.

I couldn't imagine some thing like that happening to me. I'm already
outside myself just being close to it happening to some one I know.

How do you do preventive maintenance to prevent some thing like this
from happening to yourself or some one you love?

Michael,

This may sound strange or rude or not totally correct but what I have always found is that it is best to distance yourslef from those that tend to draw attention from the authorities.

Hopefully, under your firends circumstances, he will not be drawing further attention and is " out from under the microscope" so to speak.

In this day and age, our supposed "protectors" sometimes appear to be nothing more than people searching for a cause and I for one, don;t want to be the center of their attention.

he should be given millions of dollars 9 years is a long time and it's even longer in prison.

It is not a nice place, my mom has worked in a maximum security prison for over 20 years, and some of the stories that come out of there are crazy.

She just got a day off because somebody was killed inside.
