Hey Warriors, I have a question that is marked with some frustration: I have articles submitted, accepted and viewable at Ezinearticles.com, but they're not indexed, even after nearly a week. Nothing shows up from Google showing it links to my website (despite it being in my resource box) and nothing shows up using the "site:" command. Same thing seems to be happening from squidoo and hubpages. I can't believe that I'm this completely clueless about it all!?! |

Okay, so you submitted article to EZA and they are live. I'm assuming they are optimized for some keyword phrase right? I mean, what search term would you expect people to use to find your articles on Google? Tell me more.

Thanks for the response, Mike. Yes, they are customized with a keyword phrase, appearing both in the title and a couple of times in the body of the articles. I'm not immediately worried about the phrase being found and utilized at the top of a Google rank, but rather was looking at this more from a backlinking strategy right now. Let me know what additional information I can provide. Thanks again. |

Hi Just checked my last article on EZA and it went live 12 hours ago and Google had indexed it within 2 hours. I hadn't even had chance to start Back linking. Googlebot must crawling EZA all the time, strange how it hasn't indexed your article. It may take a lot longer to show your link to your site, Google being how they are may never show that backlink. Yahoo tends to show the majority of backlinks. Try searching for the following in Google. "Title of Article" - If you put quotes around it looks for that phrase. If no luck try site:www(.)ezine articles(.)com "article Title" - that will only search EZA (without the()()) The only problem I am having is EZA are taking 15 days to review articles on new accounts. Nightmare. James |

Huh. So this is odd. Yahoo has both articles indexed (did an exact word match on the titles), but neither Bing or Google has them.

It's even worse than I thought: Submissions to articledashboard, articlebase, a1articles, articleally, articlecity and articlecube ALL aren't indexed. I've even put out a Wordpress blog that is getting bumpkus. If anyone would be willing to help me privately with what I might be doing wrong, I would appreciate it. I'm frankly amazed at how bad this seems.
