A Great WordPress Auto Poster...

Hello all:

I am looking for a great Wordpress plugin that will post relevant articles to my site automatically.

I am familiar with Wp-o-matic and Auto-blogged. Any other options?

Or if you have used wp-o-matic or auto-blogged what is your experience? Thanks for the input!

When you say relevant articles do you mean straight from article sites?

I would say these would be duplicate content and not indexed by search engines therefore the issue you may have is picking up organic traffic over time from google etc.

Of course I could be off track here, please let me know

Dang! You're absolutely RIGHT!

All those thousands of copies of articles from EZineArticles that get spread all over the known universe are all absolutely worthless, since clearly the search engines will only index the FIRST ones -- those that live on the EZA site itself!

No wonder they have their policy that says you cannot change their articles, and they won't accept articles that have been published anywhere else!

Oh ... just one question tho ... how are so many people getting so much traffic supposedly generated from top-10 SERPs from all of these "duplicate content" articles they post to their blogs and web sites? Hmmm... must be a freak thing. Never mind. Just don't waste your time using articles on your blogs and sites b/c they obviously won't ever be indexed.

Yet Another Auto Blogger (YAAB) is a pretty easy to use plugin. I have found it easier to use and set up than WP-o-Matic.

As far as 'relevant' content, that all depends on the RSS feeds you input into the system. Depending on the niche that could be the hardest part, but you should be able to find something. Just make sure you give the proper links/credits to the RSS feed supplier.

That's not how it works. Haven't you guys ever searched on a topic and found the same exact article on different sites? If Google indexes just one copy, how does that happen?

I've seen up to three copies of the same article on one result page...and beyond that page, there were other copies sprinkled throughout the results.

The duplicate content penalty only applies to content on your own site. Otherwise, sites that syndicate news, blogs, and other forms of content would be completely off the radar. But that's just not how it is.

There is neat plugin available that lets you just send an article to a secret email address on your domain and it will automatically be posted. I've never used it because it sounds kinda sketchy to me, like how would I catagorize the blog post etc... Ill see if I can find it for you if it is something you may like.

I heard that WP Robot plugin does this but you will have to setup a cronjob for this.

On a related note on Blogger you can post through email maybe its old news for some people but I noticed it recently.

Here's a trick to make it automatic if you have an autoresponder

1.Load the articles in a seperate campaign this is only for you

2.subscribe to that campaign with your blog address

3. Schedule the emails for alternate days

4.Remember the subject line of the email will be the title of your posts

Lol! The discussion of duplicate content cracks me up! I have no desire to argue the benefits of putting "duplicate" articles/content on your site. Let's just say that I am doing it.

I am just interesting in discussing actual plugins or tools that can aid in the process. I will check out the couple that are mentioned here. Thanks! Any others that people are aware of or really like?

Would it not be better for you to write your own keyword rich articles and post them on your site or onto EzineArticles? You should easily be able to do 5 articles of 400 words a day.
