What are your results with twitter marketing?

Anybody having any luck with twitter marketing? I've been trying it for a month now and so far have made only 2 or 3 sales.

I actually joined a special twitter marketing program online to give me an edge before starting my twitter marketing campaign but have yet to see any good results.

Well I have over 21000 targetted twitter followers my username is extremelyrich and from what I have noticed from day one its been about relationship building as opposed to sending out ads all the time (Not that you are) but many do and get nothing in return and wonder why.

i started to use my twitter less then 1 day ago.
and already i got 120 followers.
Also i personally don't advice to use any soft for getting followers.
They are useless.
That's why i choosing each one by myself

My approach is a bit differen't. I know the rule of thumb as it seems on twitter is that you follow someone who follows you. but if you have 20k followers then can you even keep up with your live streams anymore? Probably not. Defeats the whole purpose.

1. focus on building relationships
2. only follow those that you want to follow
3. mix up ur tweets with regular tweets, @ and RTs.
4. etc etc

Having a lot of followers makes you a good ranking and generates a good traffic.

I have a twitter account where i posted two tweets and within a few hours I got 20 followers. lol. I'm assuming most of these are people who are are using a 3rd pary software to autofollow.

I've been using Twitter for about 6 months now and am just now getting some really good conversions from it. I never post ads to sales pages though. I do a boatload of RT's, News of Interest Tweets, Relationship Building and posting links to posts on my blog. From my blog they opt-in for my giveaway product. Then my autoresponder nabs them later.

Ok....I've been following this "Twitter" thingee and looking for ways to "Monetize" it.

Came across a guy who is charging Restaurants, $100 a Week to handle their "Twittering".

He now has over 25 restaurants paying him $100/wk. Here's what he does;
He sends Twitter Messages to "Twitterers" of each restaurant, announcing that, "Get 20% off any Meal, next Tuesday, at Smith's Italian Restaurant by saying the CODE WORD..."Twit-Twit"!"

He gets "Twiter followers" for each restaurant and Twits a special discount to them....where the "Twitter Folowers" can get special discounts with the "Code Word".

If the List of Twitter Followers for a restaurant is 200....and he Twits them a special Code to get a Special Discount on a certain day...and the restaurant DOES get LOTS of Diners on that day...saying the "Secret Code....guess who gets the credit?....righto...the Twitter guy.

And, the restaurants keep paying his fee. Nice.

Iv'e been in marketing for a year now. And seems like twitter help a lot on elevating the traffic on my site and so with the sales.

Ya... I've found decent results with twitter... It isn't all that hard to get followers, but it is harder to find the followers that you need in order to sell your product.

Although I don't pay for any twitter software, I'm strongly considering it. My best friend uses twitter a lot for his marketing and he swears by it...

I would add that I get the most traffic from Twitter than any other source, but the conversion rate of 4.62% is the lowest of all the sources... I'm just thinking that since he's got over 20,000 followers and I've only got 2,500... His 4.62% is looking pretty sweet. I suppose I could spend more time working on getting followers, but I don't really have that time.

So I guess maybe it just depends on whether there are people on twitter willing to buy the product your selling.
