What's the Trick With Go Articles?

I have submitted articles to Goarticles and they have gotten requests but no votes and the traffic is good at first but goes away after maybe the first week. How does one get votes for your article and get people to click on them.

I see folks on the first page with hundreds of votes. Did I miss something here or is there a method to this madness that folks just ain't talking about and it's another one of those secrets no one wants to talk about. We'll I'm asking. How the heck do you get votes to your article not just requests on GoArticles. Is this something folks are keeping close to the vest?

It seems to me that article requests and votes are two separate actions and are not related at all. I want more votes. Any pointers?

while you can vote for your own article it's never going to get you hundreds of votes as I think you can only do it once a day.

As for the amount of views: I've written some articles that only ever get 8 views but I've also submitted some that my dad wrote, that ended up with over 10,000 views. No idea why. One of his has a capture on it as there were so many requests they thought it looked dodgy but I'm the one uploading them for him and did nothing different than my unpopular one with it's pitiful 8 views. lol

I have also noticed that with article marketing over the years whilst I havent done masses of it I have always done enough and some articles get alot of views and some dont, I have used ezinearticles.com more than go articles tho

I'm getting warm but it seems no one is talking about this openly... Which of course makes me want to find the answer even more

You can always buy votes like some people do...

Usually they buy the first 100 or so votes... Once the votes start piling up, general readers feel compelled to start adding their votes too...

Voters like following the established trend... When it is a party, they all want to play...

If you have an email list, you could send them a link to the article. You're bound to get some votes if it's of sufficient quality.

Monique, I have about 3500 articles published at the Ezine so I am not exactly 'fresh' to article marketing. Actually, I have been quite successful with it.

But in my personal experience... publishing articles at Goarticles.com to get traffic from them has been a complete waste of time. I would absolutely never entertain the idea of doing it again.

Just my $0.0199...
