Hi guys. I tried to post a thread on this earlier but it disappeared for some funny reason. I am looking for a mentor. Someone who is going to get me started on this road. I have tried to go it alone but I get so confused and lost in the wealth of information.
Any responses are sincerely appreciated, please pm me your offers or write them in this thread. I am not looking for a free ride. I am making an investment into my education. Many thanks To your success mfi. |

There are more ways of making money online than I could list here and every one of them has an army of coaches, mentors and "mavens." If you're not sure what many of them are, spend some time looking around the forum - and many of the sub forums. It's the best possible advice I could give you at this stage. Tom | |

My mentors are everyone else on this forum. I read, replicate, if it works I continue to use it, if it doesn't then I abandon the strategy and move on.

Make sure you check out the mentor well. Rank each mentor that applies based on experience and wealth. Toss out those at the bottom and pick from the top three.

I'm sorry, I didn't give you a particularly helpful answer earlier. Before you select a coach or mentor...
1. Be clear about what you want to achieve. 2. Have an idea of how much time you're willing to devote to the project. 3. Do some due diligence to make sure the coach has walked the talk. 4. Set a budget for the coaching and any other investments that may be needed. 5. Make sure the coach's style/personality will mesh with your own. 6. Seek references or check out testimonials. 7. Be prepared to accept advice/criticism/feedback. Rapido |

There are SO many business plans laid out here. All you need to do BEFORE you hire a mentor is pick a single one and focus ONLY on it for a month. You'll learn a ton about what you like / dislike about the business model, tracking results, what can be automated, versus outsourced, etc.
Do this and then hire a mentor afterwards. |

Thanks for the response guys. I am looking to master article marketing since I feel that is a strong point I can utilise to my great advantage.
My current dream income is £150 a day. I am not entirely sure why I decided that was my goal. I simply felt that it was a nice figure. On a good work day I can 'earn' about half of that. So £150 essentially doubles my income. I have attempted this before and I have failed. I tried doing article marketing but I got confused as I was just following steps and did not know why I was following these specific steps. I want to understand why I am doing something. Therefore I am looking for a mentor who has the sufficient patience ti explain some of this stuff to me. Many thanks. Dennis |

Don't get a mentor. Just become a member read threads and don't try to get rich overnight.
Stay on LOW BUDGET TO BEGIN WITH. And don't buy to many products. Many pearls of wisdom around here. |

oh and stay out of the marketing niche at all costs!! 99% chance you'll get burned.
Some-once said to me that i had no credibility to market marketing courses until i could prove myself in a non-marketing niche... didn't listsen .. spent loads on marketing products and got burned bad... lesson learned.. that was 4 years ago. I left IM completely for 3 years. It took that long to get over the experience. Its hard work ... no way around that. |
