My first ever way i made money online was ebay selling wholesale designer trainers, i was making around £2,000-£3,000 per month, but it went all down hill due to ebay polices.

In the pure-online world, my first ClickBank commission came in when I sent out a link on Twitter for a product to gain lots of Twitter followers. That was June 22 of this year. I've sold a lot of services online, where someone paid me to do something, but that's the first sale I made in the "traditional" IM fashion. |

CPA Type Offers... I started a PPC campaign for a few pay-per-lead work from home sites... Thats how I saw my first profit ever, and I still do it... This is a great way to start, the conversions are much higher, especially until you learn to write successful sales copy.. |

| PPC adult content. I ran a FTP server back when cable modems first started and I required all my FTP users to click a link to retrieve a password from a page(2nd to last word from the bottom of the page type of thing) to be able to have full download access to my server. At the time I was doing 1gig/day worth of traffic completely in MP3 downloads/uploads. Didn't take long for the cable company to send me a letter. But made good beer drinking money.

My first few sales were made as an affiliate when I joined wealthy affiliate (before I knew about this forum). I slapped an affiliate link for an ebook in my forum sig and made my first 3 sales of $27 each in that first week. After that I didn't make any more sales since I had no idea how to promote the ebook. My next thing was a few months later when I wrote my own ebook and that made $300 in the first month. I should have made more by now but like many others new to internet marketing I've been guilty of researching too much with not enough action. It's been about 7 or 8 months I think since I first looked at IM properly and I'm much more focused now, working on just a few good projects. Going to continue working hard throughout this winter and hoping for big things in 2010.

I was promoting 6by6 million dollar product (is now discontinued) and promoting it in the RJ forum made like 8 sales @ $6.00. After that I create my own PLR product which sold for $17.50 thousands of PLR articles, 50 MMR ebooks, 10 PLR ebooks, website scripts and templates. It was an EASY sell back then. When I finished that I made my first WSO and sold a traffic ebook for $9.90 in the old forum. After 1 month I sold the site and rights to the product. This would have all been within the first 12 months of me starting out. P.S. I did a lot of other work in between all of that as well. |

My first $$$ was $130 commission from Adult Friend Finder early this year. I bought a WSO but didn't do like he said. I sent youtube traffic straight to sign up page instead of making review page like he showed us to do. While I got $75 commission form their cam site they canceled my account + I never got $600+ as they canceled my account. Lesson learned is duplicate FIRST, innovate SECOND. As we hear "think outside the box" over & over I've learned it's best to do as they say first & add our own twists/spins SECOND. |

My very first money I made online was selling my services as a designer. I was 12 years old at the time and designed a fansite for "Neopets". I orginally designed the site for fun because I enjoyed both Neopets and Design at the time. Then somebody offered me some money for the website so I sold it. Years later I realised why the person wanted my website. He most likely made an absolute killing from banner ads for those "change you mouse" softwares. Oh well, I've got alot talents mastered now. Ghost-Designing is one of them. I'm one of the few designers who doesn't put his name on everything he does. More recently I create products. I LOVE creating, learning and teaching so it's ideal for me. (Plus the presentation is always marvelous) Kustom. |

I first got started online working for my dad when I was younger, doing some independent research and IM for him. Then I got a job at Google and worked there, that allowed me to learn some amazing PPC skills. After working at Google for a little while I decided to quit and start my own business. Having worked at Google it was a good shoe in the door for landing myself customers. I started offering PPC marketing builtouts, optimizations ect, then I moved into SEO and article marketing. This was great because I was able to learn a lot about Internet Marketing with out being out of pocket any money. Now I'm trying to make the transition from service based business to a 'make money while I sleep business'. I've just finished with a nuber of articles and I'm going to post my first affiliate site in the next week. Using my ability and skills to drive traffic I think it should go well. I have all the fundamentals in place, just need to build the cash machine now :P . I'll let you know how it goes and post a little case study perhaps.

Interesting, I was one of first to jump on internet when it went commercial, became one of first moderators on AOL, and all of a sudden I discovered I had a business which could be promoted online. I developed a hybrid affiliate program taking my traditional business online in 1998 and I have never looked back. I use the internet for all my businesses with no more office, no more employees, no more high overhead, not even a home office, just a laptop. I constantly research all businesses looking to add to my portfolio strategy. I always look for the next business trend, then get in front of it, win some, lose some, but the challenge is what motivates me. Success to all, |

Ebay. I had bought a image stablization pole for a mini camera that I barely used. I got it from B&H. They had a return program for used items, and when I went to ask them what I could get for it they didn't want it back after my owning it for 5 years or so even though it was in the box in perfect condition. I got around $125 for it on ebay. ![]() Watching people bid on your old stuff is not only financially rewarding, but exciting. There was a bidding war going on. Fun to be on the other end of things. Before that it was me bidding on stuff and screaming whenever someone would outbid me. |

As much as I don't care to admit it, I made some of my first money online getting paid to try forum members "free trial" products. It only took a couple of hours a day and I made usually about $100+ . However, at the time I was far too busy with other personal commitments to keep up with what I had to cancel and by when, so I quit the group. These groups still do exist and if you have a couple of hours a day, they can be a way to make quick money to fund other ventures you may have. |

My first ever "internet" sale was during the goold ol parked domain money machine days. what i did was go thru my local business directory, register about 20 - 30 domains names in certain businesses names and parked them up for free. (can you still park domains for free?) After about a week, i had a call from a guy who said he tried to register a domain i had and he WANTED IT BAD... After about an hrs negotiation he paid me £500 cash for it...just popped round my house with the money and gave it me there and then! TOTAL PROFIT...didn't cost me a penny! He was the only one though...BUT, that's where my first online income came from! Or should that be offline income? Heres a tip: Register domain names like builderwanted.co.uk or builderwantedsurrey.co.uk and build a small directory of building companes up...Then find a local company in that category, and ask if they wanted to buy the site off you...you of course would want to make sure it's ranking well in the search engines..it would have to be number 1 in google for that serch term...think about all the service type domains you could do this with?! Builderwantedsurrey.co.uk builderwantedcambridge.co.uk plumberwantedlondon.co.uk The list could go on and on... |

My first money I ever made online was when I was in middle school. I was very good at exploiting certain parts of an online PC game. So much that I could profit from it. I made a couple hundred dollars before the exploit was fixed and I got bored of the game. A few years after that, I started selling proxy templates for about $30 a pop on DP. They normally don't sell for that much, but mine achieved very high CTR % from AdSense. At the time, I was also running a proxy. I managed to get #1 for "unblock websites" until my host crashed from all of the traffic. From that keyword alone, I was pulling in about $25-30/day, just through AdSense. I ended up selling the site and moving onto other projects. |

I started to earn money online with Ebay in Germany. Later I had my own website with a shopping cart. (sport items) The only problem with physical products is, that you should have a good customer service and prompt deliveries. A lot of work is involved to sell items on the net, which have to to explained and should come with worranty. To much hessels and to much hard work - I sold this business and I am looking forward to sell electronical products now. |

At the time, I was actually working on a project to make it "big-time", and then had a small tiny project I put together that was "cool". Someone suggested I sell it online, I was skeptical, but followed their advice, and magically (with a bit of promotion), 1-2 days later I had my first sale.

HI in Jan 2000 I was down to my last $200.00 and I felt so low and down right broke...and I took a chance, bought 2 solid oak tool chest at Costco for $100.00 each and sold them on ebay for a total of $650.00 for both chests...I then did some research and found Gerstner company selling Solid Oak Tool Chests for $1100.00.....so I bought more from Costco and sold them also.....I never spent the money I made that first week and cleared over $3500.00....I kept buying and selling...for weeks..I then drove to every Costco in the State of California and bought them out....it took a while, but I had a huge stock of them that last a full 18 months... What happened next was the manufacturing company who made the tool chest in China heard of me.....and contacted me...I then had them make me the oak tool chests and shipped to me from China. I was the only person in The USA besides Costco selling them...... The reason I made money on these chest and Costco didn't was because Costco put the chests in the back of the store, and tool collectores never knew they were there...so Costco couldn';t sell them......so Coscto dump the chests from $149.50 each to $100.00 each and I bought them out. I became the largest Internet seller in the world for 6 years. This is a true story. Thanks Mr Money Maker Oh ya....at the End of 6 years Gerstner signed a contract with this company, I guess they got tired of me.....If they read this...they know who I am....well I wish them the best !! |
