    Hey Andrew,

What I use is the "envision the ending" process. If I can have a clear vision of the end, then I can piece together the steps necessary to get to that point.

And then with each step I take, I know I am closer to the "vision" that I had of the end. Sometimes, I will run into a stumbling block or a challenge or a bit of technical stuff that would probably derail most people... BUT - since I have a clear vision of the end and already KNOW WITH CERTAINTY what the end result will look like, it just makes and keeps me motivated to hop over that hurdle and "get 'er done".

Develop a to do list and do it.

If one of the tasks is giving you trouble, move on to another piece of the puzzle and go back to the problem task last - if possible unless you must do a before you can do b.

I'm not sure this technique will work since the very decision to apply such a technique has to do with how BAD you want a desired outcome or to avoid pain associated with NOT taking action.

You must create more pain and pleasure associated with an outcome of setting multiple goals then you are far more likely to stick to the task at hand.
