Could some1 please tell me in which order google prefers these domains as im quite confused on what to pick im just after mainly serps positioning and what google prefers cheers |

If you have the keyword in the domain, whether it's separated by dashes, etc, you should be fine. After that, focus on links. |

For Google rankings... If MetalChairs.com was taken I would go with Metal-Chairs.com If that was taken I would try to get something like... MetalChairsDepot.com or MetalChairsOnline.com I would not use... ChairsMetal.com To be honest a domain name doesn't matter as much as the links pointing to it. Even with non-relevant domain, If you build enough quality backlinks to your site with the keywords "Metal Chairs" in the anchor text links you'll rank for Metal Chairs. |

Please see: Domain Name Tricks for a complete round-up of suffixes, prefixes etc. I would include the words in their natural order. It doesn't really matter, though, especially if you're not worried about branding and repeat visits. (Chairsmetal looks spammy.) Google will highlight both words in the URL if you grab chairsmetal.com, it's just a crappy domain. Get metalchairshub.com or something like that. See the thread I linked to. |

any-site-name.com/metalchairs Make the main site generic enough that they are related but not limited to metal chairs . Target the high comp keywords with the main site page . With the keyword rich sub page metalchairs you can get the traffic for metal chairs . If chairs metal is getting another 1000 or so searches name a sub page chairs metal and get that traffic too. If the main site name is generic to a point , a good sub page named rocking-chairs can expand your income If you are getting all this chair related traffic to your sub pages , do you think there is a chance your index page, with the hard to capture keyword , could show a little more authority? |

You can go to godaddy and find that there they have popular suffixes and prefixes suggested for the keywords you are searching for, if the main .com and .net are already taken. Something like adding -blog -site -today etc. etc.
