Help with Wordpress adding backslashes before apostrophe

Hi,
Can anybody please help me fix a problem I'm having with my Wordpress blog posts? Each time I enter an apostrophe before a word like I'm, we're, etc. wordpress always adds a backslash like I/'m, we/'re. Sometimes I get a lot of backslashes such as doesn\\\\\\\’t This is really driving me nuts. Your help will be very much appreciated.

Are you using the visual editor? Disable that and just use the HTML editor.
Also dont copy and paste from Word as that will cause these sorts of problems - use a text editor instead.

For the benefit of you guys having the same problem, I was able to solve the problem by deactivating the ultimate tag warrior plugin. It seems to be conflicting with the functions.php.

Hey Henry, that is a very useful bit of info. I always thought that the Ultimate Tag Warrior was a little off... must my personal experience.
