This is a VERY common phishing scam going around... I got one from the "Windows Live Team" the other day... apparently the windows live team's e-mail is something like asjkdfhasj@gmail.com... who'd have thought?
That same day some ditz on the radio called in when they were discussing this stuff and said she'd had her bank account drained for falling for this scam... I wanted to cradle my head in my palms but alas, I was driving. |
|
Everyone keeps telling me they wish they had started IM at my age... I'd be an idiot not to take that as my cue to LEARN LEARN LEARN! ; )

Scam has been on the rise around the world, and unfortunately, has been going up in complexity. We should always try and take lots of precautions for protecting our self against these kinds of fraud, which are happening so be alert about them. BTW thanks for posting this, since it is a good warned to everyone.

No company will ever ask you for your password. This is probably one of the gazillion phishing attempts made daily.
