How to Choose Profitable Affiliate Product to Promote

Hello all,

I'm aware that there other places beside clickbank to get affiliate product to promote,
but for the sake of simplicity I will choose clickbank because it has lots of info on each of the product.

We can see $/sale, Future $, Total $/sale, %/sale, %refd, grav for each of the product
along with the sales page and a brief description.

The question will be what are the criteria that you use when you choose products from clickbank to promote (whenever possible, give some figure like 70-150 gravity points and such) ?

The criteria can be some figures (70-150 gravity points, etc) or something like "have high Future $ ", etc.

Please include your reason for setting the criteria.

And also, any free/paid software/tools that can be used to filter clickbank product based on certain range of popularity, $/sales and such ?

I read an article today that less than 1% of all clickbank affiliates actually make enough money to live on and the top 3% affiliates generate genertae over 80% of the sales. Cant veryfy these figure but it makes kinda interesting reading. Guess it just goes to show that its all about action, action, action.
