Hi Gang This occured to me today, and I'm pretty sure it's ethical. As you know, many people buy Ebooks from Clickbank with their own affiliate Id so in effect, they are getting it cheaper (once the cheque arrives). Now, this is a bit dodgy and I think against their rules. There are services where people try to sign up through their own link but it simply won't allow them. So, what I am suggesting, is you pair up with somebody who is at the same stage of their Internet Marketing life as you, and then when you both buy products, i,e signing up for Aweber or continuity programs, and such, you can buy through each other's links. It is also good to pair up with somebody anyway because you can keep each other focused, have someone to share problems with, and even work on projects together. What do you guys think? I hope this isn't unethical. Cheers, Phil |

Hi Alexa Reallly? Oh wow, ok, well for Clickbank then, carry on as is. As for things like Aweber however, you can't do this, and many other networks, so hopefully the information is still relevant...or it could just be one of those days where I wished I did't get out of bed ;-) Phil |

Yup Alexa is right, Clickbank allow that - no reason it should be considered 'dodgy'. As for your idea about mutually signing up and getting referral fees, this is precisely what I do with an associate of mine. John Burton |

Yeah, I thought maybe it was considered unethical from the point of the vendor getting less money than what they normally would get. Plus, I thought I have read it somewhere but obviously I was wrong - Doh, I'm starting to look like a tit now...uhhh...tea anybody? Phil |
