Can you FIDDLE with the TAGS on your posts?

Have i been missing some great traffic here?
Surely if you do a very good thread here on the forum, you will be ranked high on google?
and then you gain more than a good article - right?
But can i manipulate the tags?
Like i have tried to do here ( badly)

Hey Rob
What you need to do go to a post and reply to it
Enter your url with your tag
here is an example with a tag to the rules for sig files
Forum Rules - Please Read This Before Posting On The Forum

Copy the html in the advance reply and add it to your sig file

The forum automatically parses the links from the page you are posting
