Do you offer an email subscribe option to your RSS feed?

If not, you should. I added one to my blog just because I personally prefer an email option to using a feed reader. I offer the email subscribe option in the right column and at the end of individual post pages.

I just did it as a convenience for my potential subscribers but never really thought of the impact it might have. That changed just now when I checked my stats and fully 1/3 of my subscribers are using the email option. That's pretty significant IMO.

Who knows if those people would have done a regular subscription, but why take the chance?

So, if you're not using the email subscribe option, you might want to look into it. It might have a positive impact on your feed numbers.

can you tell me do you offer 3 things

    1. Subscribe to RSS
    2. Subscribe to RSS using email
    3. Regular email subscription for newsletter?

Im seeing a lot of blogs leaning away from regular newsletters and moving towards just updating people on blog posts is that what you do?
