Jeez, you can't turn your back on them for a minute. I'm sure I'll get used to it. What do you all you Twitterers think? Better, worse, indifferent?

I started on a desktop application, for twitter but the service and API were so unstable, that I felt like I was wasting my time, I just followed up with the developers group there and nothing has changed,

    It is a total nightmare.

Twitter uses, Amazon web services, along with SQS to create the service, the problem is that the system they devised to use the Amazon Web services, and the twitter API are so not compatible,

There are just too many holes in the dyke to keep putting your finger in there.

Hopefully some day they will have a stable back-end, but that day is not today.

I use Twirl so I never actually look at the interface.

Well, go on over there and check it out, Tweeps! I actually like it, I think it looks cleaner. It is a little different. I alternate using different applications including Twhirl - wonder if the Twitter change will mess up existing Apps.

I HATE change, that's why I'm not voting for Obama. But a quick trip into "settings" and re-uploaded my .jpg tiled design background and it's not so bad. Alright, maybe change is good?

I just got to Atlanta on a trip and logged on and thought something was wrong at first. It took a second to realize that it was changed and that there was not a problem.

I have not been on twitter long enough to have a huge attachment, but I kind of miss the old style. I am sure I will learn to appreciate this style even more, but well see.

How many people are you following? Their old setup let you follow a max of 2000 people, until you get 2000 people following YOU, and then they let you add more.

Yeah, it all loads much faster it seems.. I really like it, they did a great job.

I agree with the comment above regarding Facebook though. Not very fond of that layout at all but like anything else, takes time to get used to it I guess.

I'm going to attempt something pretty groovy with Twitter this weekend. I sure hope it works out.

      Here's a clue...

      It involves breakdancing.

Also, I only need 12 more peeps to break 2000 Twitter followers. Come join the most hilarious and anticipated Twits of total randomness, weirdness, sillyness, idioticness, playfulness, sometimes business-ess, and surferess.

      Twitter / jasonmoffatt

Also thinking about running another Ebay ad for Twitter. This time I may do an auction and top bidder gets the luckyness of me following them and a blatant Twitter pitch for them.

Wonder how much I'll be able to sell that for?

Gee, Jason, I'm already following you. But I can't wait to see the breakdancing. Are people standing by with emergency kits just in case?

Since I'm still getting the over capacity 'fail whale' today I'm indifferent. They should work on handling their visitor load vs. changing the site layout. I thought that is why they made the changes then I got that freaking image of the 'fail whale'. They need a new image for that. :-)

Hey that's why you don't tattoo your significant others name on your body. Things can change. :-)

Well, first of all, that would show EXCELLENT taste.

In my humble opinion, the guy who tattooed the Fail Whale on his leg may look back on that decision 20 years from now and be like "Damnit, why didn't someone stage an intervention?"

I know how he will feel 20 years down the road. Old high school buddies are posting pictures from back in the day on Facebook. I'm upset no one staged an intervention to let me know my Flock Of Seagulls 1980's hairstyle was hideous. I guess my parents were right. :-)

My first day going crazy on Twitter and I have already made two sales from it for a total of $39 and got nearly two dozen leads. This stuff is awesome. I'm speechless now.

I dig the new Twitter look. I think it will evolve more over the next few months, as it continues its amazing growth spurt. I bet it only vaguely resembles this current iteration by Spring '09.
