Myspace has been a great tool for me for the past few years in learning what certain age groups respond to, are willing to buy, or even gets them angry.
I will admit that using Myspace for this first requires a lot of "friend" gathering. But over the years I have gathered 100s of thousands of friends spread out over many different accounts all seperated by age, sex, and location. What I do is wait till I have the highest amount of users online for any given account. Myspace limits users to only monitoring 1,000 friends at a time per account. So with a myspace account that has 35,000 friends I can assume that if it shows 28 out of a 1,000 online. I have approx. 1,000 friends online give or take 100. With this I can post a bulletin and then assume that only a certain percentage of those online users will actually see the bulletin. Thats why I post when the most users are online. I can post something say about Miley Cyrus to a group of 15-19 year old females for a quick response. With this information I can either build fancy bulletins to post a few times a day or I can make a marketing campaign based off of this real life test. Over all using a method like this has worked pretty well for me and a few of my friends doing so lead based sales. I don't like spamming over and over and over again myself. I'd rather spread it out over many accounts. and still be able to post 100 bulletins a day either for information gathering or actual leads. I have a feeling that this method will soon be very large again for the fact that myspace has allowed people to turn off the annoying "CAPTCHA" option when adding people to your accounts. Once again being able to automatically add thousands of users a day over multiple accounts. Easy math 10 accounts times 100 adds each 1,000 per day. And you can safely add upwards of 300 to each account a day without drawing too much suspicion in the account. Just a little info figured I would pass on. Any input if you use methods like this would be great to add here. |

Yea this is a good method to get traffic, but time consuming. This can also be done with Twitter, with following lots of people then tweeting your links.

Nice method mrnightowl,
But it's to time consuming, I you would like to use facebook, there is easy way to add friend within a second, Just go to some group and facebook and find the post on that facebook with title "add me" Then in those post there is alot of email account for facebook ID belong to member of those group. Just copy paste those email address to add friend link on top of your facebook interface, That's it, you have add thousand of facebook account within a second, a Minute I mean ![]() Hope this will help, Vaan |

I do have my myspace method automated pretty good now with the use of Automate Software and also friend adding bots. But I pretty much only use the bots now to randomly post to the accounts I already have. I have seen a lot of people get into it with having myspace accounts that have 250,000 on one account but thats crazy. What happens when that one account gets deleted because of spam complaints. I like to keep it smaller and spread it out. | |
