Try Federal Citizen Information Center: Home Page

It's a jumping off point, with some free publications. Also lots of links to other info by the US Government, most of it public domain.

Even if you can't use it directly, the information is there to easily create something useful for a giveaway.

    Hi James

What you can do is get some PLR articles on your niche or write some yourself and create a short report with your own links in it etc.

Convert it to pdf and give that away for free. You can convert to pdf using doc2pdf dot com (Google it - it's free to use).

It would be your own content, you wouldn't need an cover or salespage and you get your own links or affiliate links in it, rather than somebody else's.

If you are using PLR content in the book, re-write the articles and add some unique content to it and voila........!

    Hope that helps.

You can do the quick route ... go to a plr site: google "niche + plr"

You can also do it quickly by going to an article directory and downloading a number of articles on your niche topic.

Choose 10-12 articles you are happy with, copy them into Open Office (or similar) and be sure to include the author's resource box.

Write an introduction to the collection and produce a PDF.

This will usually provide a report with about 20-25 pages. You can also add some graphics if you want to improve visual appeal. If you don't want to pay for photos, use clip art, which can make the report look more appealing.

As others have mentioned, if you can obtain PLR at an acceptable price, you won't have to include authors' bio details. However, article directories have a far wider range of articles to choose from that may allow you to target your keywords more closely.
