I emailed ezinearticles.com a few days ago but I still haven't got a response. I have about 100 articles published with them at the moment and I want to change the landing page that they're linking too. My concern with doing this is that I don't want to lose my positions in Google because I have quite a few articles that have stuck right at the top and are driving some decent traffic. Also, when the articles are edited and approved, does the original url remain the same? This is another concern because I have links into the articles.. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks in advance, Bill |

Yeah you will lose your position. I have done this for an article that was page one of google but the article was no longer anywhere to be found after editting it. The url will however remain the same and you can easily get back to where you were before editting by building some more links to the article. |

If most are linking to same domain just do a redirect to the landing page you want them on & edit rest.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess I can only hope that they'll approve my edited versions quickly.

Last time I made a change to an existing article... based on EZA's recommendation... bad link in resource box... they told me it would be back up in 24 hours... It took two weeks ![]() Good luck with making changes... Peace, Alan |

Tim had a good idea, to be safe just do a redirect. You can check the referer and if it's ezinearticles.com, then redirect to your landing page. However, it depends what you are changing. If you are only changing the links, you shouldn't lose your article's rankings. If you are changing the title, or body, you could lose your rankings. You could also lose your rankings because while they are in edit mode they are taken off the site and not visible for a few days until they are approved again. EZA is getting picky these days so they may not even like your landing page if it doesn't have enough good "content". So, the redirect seems like a good option for you. |
