| I did a test for a health niche and wrote (I thought) a very good email letter expounding the benefits of a certain product. On checking thru' a spam checker it returned this:- drug 1.4 magic 1.4 HIV 3.0 private 0.4 opportunity 0.6 cancer 1.2 cholesterol 1.8 doctor 0.8 pain 0.8 respiratory 1.2 pharmacy 0.8 stamina 0.6 olympic 1.8 damage 0.4 free 0.4 bigger sex drive 1.2 _____________________ Total= 17.783 of spam threshold of 5 _____________________ I don't think I will send it now!! The anti-spam filters are really tightening up on email marketers so much that the only way I can think of to get a message thru' that has any meaning at all to the recipients is to type the email in Word and then use ScreenHunter or some similar screen capture program, and make a .jpg image of the text and send that out in an html message! What other tricks are there? |

I´m in the internet marketing niche and there are certain words that get always caught in the spam filter.I use a thesaurus to find suitable synonyms instead. (I.E. make money online = earn an income on the internet)

| That was a very funny spam checker ![]() Take care what spam checker you use. There are some so called spam checkers made by people who don't know what they are talking about. I remember one of such so called spam checker that was claiming that my name (Adrian), but also Brad and Addison are spam filter triggers Do you know why? Because the "smart" dude who created the checker thought that the word "ad" is penalized. The word "ad" can be found in Adrian, Brad, Addison, etc. so the consequence (in his weird mind) was that all these names are penalized ![]() Quote:
