Professional Video Production

I'm considering offering a video production service, a professional young actor will be teaming up with me (he is in the TV commercial circuit and has loads of experience - he is very good).

Anyway, combined with my production and editing skills, I think it should be quiet a formidable team. The idea is to make short video clips to help small businesses promote their products.

So my question is; do you think there is a desire for this, and what do you think is a reasonable price for small and home based business to pay?

There's certainly demand for it... just look at LiveFaceOnWeb.com.

As far as pricing, well, there I really have no idea.

That's an interesting site (LiveFaceOnWeb.com) thanks for that, never seen it before. They charge $3,218.95 for 300 second commercial which I think might be too much for many small and home businesses.. but then again I could be totally wrong, it might be right on the money.

Hi louise,
Before you go any further, why not make a poll on some to those small business you want to target, maybe its covered who the demand is and what the price they will pay?

That's a good idea Vaan, the businesses I have in mind are exactly the type of businesses I see on WF, the small guy who can't afford to spend thousands on video production or actor fees.
