Urgent: Help me With Choosing a Webhosting Service!

Hey warriors,

I need some help here choosing a good webhosting service, been trying to find one that dosen't fail.

Features im looking for:

• CPanel
• Fantastico DeLuxe
• WordPress
• Unlimited Disk Space, Bandwith and Domains

If not unlimited disk space, then at least for domains as I will be making a tons of sites.

I use Bluehost for most of my sites. It is cpanel based, unlimited domains, Simple Scripts (similar to Fantastico), unlimited disc space. I have used them for years and have never let me down.

I would recommend Hostgator. They have the features you requested...cpanel, Fantasico deluxe, unlimited domains, bandwidth and diskspace. I've used them for over a year and have not had any problems. Their customer service has been very responsive.

Unlimited disk-space and bandwidth doesn't exist.

If you want "tons of sites", then be sure not to use up too much space or bandwidth (or CPU) else you will get suspended.

That being said, everyone recommends HostGator.

Then how would someone go about getting hosting for "tons of sites" ?

I would recommend HostGator. They have all of the features you are looking for. Also they have 24/7 chat available, and those guys have helped me out alot with some of the newbish problems I have had.

VPS, cloud, dedicated, cluster hosting?

Shared hosting isn't the only type of hosting..

Does Facebook, Google, YouTube (etc) use a $5 per month host?

Then wouldn't that be classed as unlimited diskspace/bandwidth?

Well, I wont be using much hd space thoug, as you said about getting your account suspended. What other options would i have if i wanted Unlimited domains and reasonable bandwith for lets say... 50 sites?

As for the 'alternatives' - usually people go onto VPS when they outgrow shared.

What about reseller hosting, are you saying you can get your account banned/suspended for using too much space/bandwidth?

Yes, for now shared should be fine ^^ And HostGator do seem one of the best hosts out there, so I'm sure you won't go wrong with them.

Was just pointing out that if any of your sites become fairly popular, you'll need to re-consider your hosting perhaps. But yes, for now shared would be fine for you I'm sure.

Reseller hosting is just shared hosting with the ability to make your own accounts. The same rules apply

The problem is that with an "unlimited" host, they won't say *when* they will suspend you.

For some hosts it may be after you use (say) 10 GB of disk-space. For others it may be lower (or higher).

I never like taking the risk though, hence why I'd go with a non-extreme-overselling host But that's just me, and HostGator are certainly a good host.

Hostegator order form is not loading up, is everyone else here experiencing this or is it just my connection?
