Hey warriors, Being in the UK, I tend to use Google.co.uk for my personal searches, and 50/50 with Google.com for my research, seen as america has the biggest search volume, and alot of people over the world naturally use Google.com. Just wondering what you fellow warriors use, and for what reason, if any. |

Google.com, im also from the UK but rarely use google.co.uk, only when i think it is neccesary. I guess the reason is its the biggest, owns more of the web than others, etc etc |

It's interesting in regards to researching keywords, as different countries search engines provide different results, so I guess many optimise for Goolge America, but how would you do that?

The best by far has been Google. I have started a program recommending MSN and Bing, so I am adding them to my arsenal.

Google.com all the way, though the Google Global Plug in is really cool. You can check all the different versions around the world at the click of a button.

I am Google.com compliant! Google is synonymous with search engine. Other search engines are unadvertised bonuses, period!

For research use Goolgle from the country you advertise for - this will give you best result for demographic. I also agree to use the engine or directory you want to advertise on. google.com/insights/search shows you keyword searches by the country - this gives you an idea who is looking for what you're selling. Once for PPC I used badly worded keywords with no competition, I discovered in google/insight those keywords came from India, which resulted in no sales. |

I only use Google. I took time to compare results between the various search engines. Google delivered the best results.

I use dogpile. Have done so for past 3 yrs at least. Occassionally use google.com(although it auto directs me to au version-ugh)-I'll use google when cross referencing search results or whatever the reason is. I'll use google maps and keyword tool too. dogpile lists top searches for yahoo google ask and bing. Why limit yourself to just 1 search engine when you can search all 4 at once? |

Google.com I am a firm believer in the tactics Howie Schwartz has show people including myself, and with that being said when I am researching a niche I use those techniques along with others I have found to determine if its a niche worth getting into...

Google, but love the Dogpile theory. It actually makes more sense if you are a consumer, but for research, Google has it beat in spite of some of Googles results in Dogpiles.
