Updated description in tags, but no change?

I updated my description on my website about 2 weeks ago and have been crawled several time since then and haven't seen a change. I know that google doesn't always use the description, but they are using the one that I origionally placed in the tages using the wordpress all in one add on. Does this normally take quite a while for the description to change or did I do something wrong?

It'll get changed eventually, it just takes a while.

I have one that says something I changed over a week ago.
It will be interesting to see what others say about this.

don't worry it takes time but you need some anchor text links about keywords in the description

This may sound completely stupid, but what do you mean. I soak up any help I can get! I'm desperate. My keywords aren't that difficult, "at least that's what everybody says", but I can't seem to get rankings. I appreciate the feedback.
